Child Safety Seminar
Parents of children (2-12 years) are invited to a free public Forum on child safety communications
on Tuesday, May 13th, 7-9PM, at the Thoreau School Auditorium. An exceptional panel
will guide parents on the options and issues involved in talking with children about
their own safety. Panelists will discuss real vs. false threats, what kids need to know
to protect themselves, at what age(s) they can handle that information, and the role of parents
(and the community) in that process. Internet safety will also be addressed.
